Story / Meaning:
Back in 2018, my friends put together an art show with a video game theme. It was one of the first gallery shows that I had ever done and I was excited to take part in it. One of the video games that I chose was Yoshi's Island. I was always in love with its playful art style, and the happiness that it evokes for me seemed like a good backdrop for what I was hoping to convey. The title "Creating Together" was a nod to the synergy between everyone that was part of the show; we are like the Yoshis coming together to make art.
